If you are interested in getting your employees involved in corporate volunteering in tree planting, woodland management, orchard creation and more across Greater Manchester – we can help.
Taking part in practical activities as a group is a great way for employees to experience team-building in the great outdoors, whilst making a real difference to the environment, wildlife and local communities.
We have two different ways in which your employees can get involved in City of Trees:
Join in at one of our Citizen Forester events
We run a monthly open sessions the first Thursday of every month 10am - 2pm with activities including tree planting, woodland management, wildflower and orchard creation and much more. Check out our public events calendar to find out more about pre-organised sessions; or download the flyer below. Corporate groups are limited to max 10 people and must get in touch before attending.
City of Trees bespoke corporate days
Perhaps you are looking for a bespoke green corporate CSR team away day for your company, or business - this could be for your employees or clients.
Over the course of a day, on a date of your choosing, your staff or clients will learn fun practical new skills whether it be tree planting, orchard creation, woodland management, or building bat or bird boxes.
We will work with you to meet your requirements, putting together a tailor made programme taking into account the season and your organisational priorities. We can even combine outdoor activities with indoor staff development sessions you may organise.
Our bespoke away days are £50 per person (minimum of £500 spend), including lunch, all equipment, facilities plus free goody bag. If you decide to make a donation, offer pro-bono support or work on a project with us then we may be able to offer your company a free bespoke green corporate away day as one of the benefits of supporting us.
More information is available to download below, and if your interested in booking a bespoke green away day for your clients or staff contact Pete Stringer on 0161 872 1660 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
