Dementia Walk and Talk

2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 2pm

Dementia-friendly walks held in Longford Park at 2pm.

These walks are run by City of Trees and Alzheimer’s Society and involve new fortnightly walking sessions at Longford Park for anyone who is living with dementia, as well as their friends, family and carers.

As part of the fortnightly sessions, the walkers will also enjoy a hot drink and a chat, discussing any issues or concerns they may have, key to helping tackle social isolation.

The Longford Park ‘Walk and talk’ sessions take place the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 2pm from Firswood Community Centre, Great Stone Road. To book call; 0161 962 4769 or email; manchester@alzheimers.org.
