England's Community Forests Annual Conference 2018

Tuesday, 20 March, 2018 - 09:30

This annual conference focuses on some of the key issues facing trees and woodland in and around our towns and cities.

England's Community Forests are within reach of more that 50% of the population. With local communities we have planted more than 36m new trees. Millions of people use and enjoy the new and growing forests. They provide a wide range of benefits for people and wildlife, as well as setting the scene for growth and jobs.

In 2018 our annual conference focuses on some of the key issues facing trees and woodland in and around our towns and cities. We reflect on the recent announcements about the environment and trees and woodlands in particular in the new 25 Year Plan for the Environment.

We are also delighted that Amanda Bryan, a Commissioner with FC Scotland will be joining us to speak about community forestry in Scotland.

Held in Birmingham, for a small cost of £25.
