Inspiring Integration: The key role of Green Infrastructure in new developments

Join City of Trees for their second annual seminar aimed at those involved in planning, regeneration as well as landscape architects, developers and built environment professionals.

19 September 2017; venue TBC; 8:30am - midday.

This free seminar will explore the role of Green Infrastructure in the development process from a sustainability and economic uplift context.

A range of industry speakers will make the case for why and how Green Infrastructure needs to be an integral component of new build to create places that people want to live, work and invest in.

The event is headed up by Matt Wells who will give an overview of his experiences as London Tree Officer and his involvement in New York City’s successful MillionTreesNYC campaign.

Councillor Alex Ganotis, the Leader of Stockport Council and appointed Green City Lead for Greater Manchester, will outline the GM Mayors Vision for a greener, sustainable Greater Manchester.

The session will end on a question and answer session.

Aimed at those involved in planning and regeneration as well as landscape architects, developers, and built environment professionals.
