To mark National Tree Week (November 23rd to December 1st 2019) Salford Museum and Art Gallery are showing some of their hidden treasures from their art collection that celebrate trees. National Tree Week, established in March 1975, is the UK's largest annual tree celebration and was set up in response to the replanting needed after the outbreak of Dutch Elm disease.
Once you have relished in the art gallery, head outside to discover the wealth of trees growing in Peel Park.
