World Environment Day (5 June) falls within the same month as Volunteers Week (1 -7 June). This is a wonderful opportunity to combine the two and give a little of your time to helping to make a difference to the environment.

Charities working hard to provide homes for wildlife and connect people to nature have joined up with Manchester City Council to plan the Manchester Festival of Nature next year. And this summer, #MFoN will be at the front of a social media campaign to inform people of how they can get involved in nature in and around the city centre.
