Trees for Learning

City of Trees is working with state Primary Schools across Greater Manchester, planting trees in school grounds, or in a local green space, as well as delivering outdoor education sessions linking to the national curriculum

We’ll be working with hundreds of schools, aiming to engage thousands of pupils, planting 60,000 trees connecting children to the trees, woods and wildlife on their doorstep.

This programme is part of DEFRA’s 1 million trees initiative, and the Woodland Trust’s ‘Trees for Schools’ programme.
