Come along for some bramble bashing at Whitworth Park with City of Trees. We will work together to clear the area of unwanted vegetation to help other native plants thrive and improve biodiversity at the site.
Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just looking to lend a hand to improve your local green space, everyone is welcome!
Tools and gloves will be provided but please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity and weather. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Meeting Point: The rear of the gallery, at the Park Side reception, accessed via Denmark Road, M15 6FG
Transport: There is very limited parking around Whitworth Park with a small amount of street parking along the park boundaries. There is a very small private car park on Acomb Street, M15 6FQ called Greenheys Community Car Park which can be used.
There is a bus stop on Oxford Road immediately beside Whitworth Park with multiple services running throughout the day. The nearest train station is Oxford Road a 24 min walk from the park.
