The Details
Join us for a day of Woodland Management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees! We are carrying out this work to maintain a healthy and sustainable woodland that supports local wildlife and the surrounding community. All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for all ages, but children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

- There is parking at the community centre
- Buses 255 and 247 operate in the area
About the site Cross Lane Park is a public park. The area where we will be working has wet and muddy ground, is flat and has ground-trodden dirt paths. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
