The Details
Join us for a day of tree planting and tree maintenance and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We are planting trees in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency . They create healthier, happier communities, tackle the climate crisis head on, reconnect us to our natural world, and provide essential habitats for wildlife.
All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for all ages. About the site
Bowlee Park is a public park. The area where we will be working has flat ground. The ground may be uneven due to vegetation, and can become muddy following rainfall. There are formal hard standing paths to the edge of the site, however the work site is only accessible via a grassed area. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
