Join us for a day of Woodland Management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We will be removing encroaching bramble, regenerated Ash trees and selectively thinning native tree species. We are carrying out this work to maintain a healthy and sustainable woodland that supports local wildlife and the surrounding community.
The tools we will be using for these activities are: loppers, secateurs, bowsaws, pruning saws and spades. All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults.
