Join us for a day of Woodland Management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We will be planting shade-tolerant, native woodland wildflowers in the woodland at Bank Bridge Meadow. Woodland wildflowers play a crucial role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. They support pollinators, attract beneficial insects, and enrich soil health. By planting these native flowers, we help:
- Provide food and shelter for local wildlife, including birds, bees, and butterflies.
- Improve soil health by preventing erosion and encouraging a balanced ecosystem.
- Enhance the beauty and diversity of our local woodlands, offering a natural sanctuary for everyone to enjoy.
All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. This activity is suitable for those aged 18+.
