What to expect:
Put survey theory into practice and carry out visual searches of Willow Tit Habitat.
Learn how to conduct a Habitat Survey : Identify and assess suitable habitats for Willow Tits.
Survey and record bird species: Conduct a survey using the playback method to assess the presence/absence of the Willow Tit, whilst also noting any other bird species present.
Please note, this session is following up from a workshop hosted on the 19th of March to introduce Willow Tit ecology and survey methodology.
It is desirable that you would have attended this before conducting a survey. If you did not attend the workshop, please inform us and contact lizzie@cityoftrees.org.uk or jimena@cityoftrees.org.uk.

About the site
- Sunnybank Vale is a publicly accessible green space. The area where we will be working has uneven ground, thick vegetation and hard standing paths.
- Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
- Toilet facilities will not be available for this site.
